Hi all !
A simple blues I played using the Laney LC-50 and the cheap (…and IMHO good) Vintage V6 Icon guitar.
There are no pedals between the guitar and the amp…I just switched from clean to lead channels. Reverb and delay are added with a VST plugin.
Gear used:
DAW: Magix Samplitude studio 2008
Mic: SM57
AudioCard : Toneport UX1 (no Gearbox used)
Guitar: Vintage V6 Icon, 3 Wilkinson single coils PU’s
Amp: Laney LC-50. Combo 1×12 all tube 50 watt
Thanks for watching !!
Peace, Marco

http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Guitars/Electric_Guitars/Electric_Guitars/p7490.aspx It’s generally considered that Fender electric guitars get cooler with age, you’ll never find players such as John Mayer, Dave Gilmore or John Frusciante playing a brand spanking new strat or tele…older Fenders tend to wear in as they age, developing their own personality over the years of gigging, feeling more comfortable and looking cooler than when they were brand new. Unfortunately, most of us don’t have the money to buy a real vintage guitar without selling a kidney, that’s why Fender have introduced the Road Worn series guitars. Using aging techniques based on the processes used on Fender’s Custom Shop Relic guitars, the Road Worn series offers more affordable, pre-aged, vintage looking instruments.
The nitrocellulose finish will wear in unlike a polyester finish which just chips and is too hard to wear in. The Road Worn guitars will look even better with a couple of years playing in them and i must say the relic job is top notch, the wear is just right and look and feel even better in the flesh.
This guitar is the Fender Road Worn 60’s Stratocaster in Olympic White. Designed around the original 1960s specs, this Mexican made guitar features a pre-worn/beaten up finish on an alder body and maple neck, 3-ply aged scratchplate and vintage, pre-aged hardware. Classic stratocaster tones are delivered from Fender’s Tex-Mex pickups whilst the rosewood fingerboard features modern 6105 style frets.
The Fender Road Worn 60’s Strat offers awesome classic looks and that sought after vintage feel whilst still delivering the performance expected from a modern guitar…without being too much of a strain on your wallet!

here is a new “VS” guitar battle type thing. but there are a few differences in this one. for starters, i actually recorded a whole backing track and laid down the audio for solos afterwards just like my little chaos songs. also, to clarify. the Les Paul was used in recording the Rhythm parts of the whole song and i figured i’d use it to show the last parts of the song even though i used all 3 during that part. each “solo” part was played over the same tracking and length etc. any questions just ask. oh and yeah, my dad walks in during the Explorer part haha. after 280 or so videos, he finally interupted me.

Using aging techniques based on the processes used on Fender’s Custom Shop Relic guitars, the Road Worn series offers more affordable, brilliantly pre-aged, realistic vintage aged instruments.

I am using a noise gate to try to quiet down the single coils, but as you can see that didn’t work out too good.
